Shield Finder Not Working Immediately After Connecting Your Account

If you recently connected or reconnected your MONOPOLY GO! account and Shield Finder is not working yet, this is usually temporary.


Due to recent changes made by Scopely, newly connected sessions may take some time before they become fully usable for certain features like Shield Finder. In some cases, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to up to 24 hours before your friends list becomes available.


During this time, you may see:

- An empty friends list

- Missing shield data

- Connection-related warnings

- Limited Shield Finder functionality


In many cases, simply waiting for the session to stabilize will resolve the issue automatically.


What You Can Do in the Meantime


Even if your friends list is not available yet, you can still look up a player’s shields manually using:

- Their MONOPOLY GO! invite link

- Their friend code

- Their user ID


You can use the search feature inside Shield Finder to perform these lookups individually while your account connection finishes stabilizing.


Important Notes


- Reconnecting repeatedly may delay stabilization further.

- If possible, avoid disconnecting and reconnecting multiple times within a short period.

- Once your session stabilizes, Shield Finder should begin syncing your friends list automatically again.
