Why Does MOGO Wiki Tools Say “Reconnect Your Account”?

Modified on Mon, 18 May at 11:51 AM

If MOGO Wiki Tools is asking you to reconnect your MONOPOLY GO! account, it does not always mean your connection completely failed.

Due to recent changes made by Scopely, some account sessions - especially on iOS - may temporarily become unstable after connecting. During this period, certain features may stop working correctly even though your account was connected successfully.

This can sometimes cause:

- “Reconnect your account” warnings

- Missing Sticker Finder updates

- Shield Finder not loading friends

- Temporary sync interruptions

Important: Reconnecting Repeatedly Can Make Things Worse

If you recently connected your account successfully, repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting may delay stabilization further.

In many cases, the best solution is simply waiting for the session to stabilize. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to up to 24 hours depending on the connection type and current platform behavior.

What You Can Do While Waiting

MOGO Wiki Tools now includes several fallback features to help during temporary connection issues:

- Disable automatic syncing to reduce “Playing on another device” popups

- Use the Manual Inventory Editor for Sticker Finder

- Look up Shield Finder users manually using:

  - Invite links

  - Friend codes

  - User IDs
